Limited Inventory and Low Interest Rates, A Great Opportunity for Sellers!

As the real estate market begins to slow down, the fact is, homes are still selling every day. We have seen more price reductions, but most of these adjustments are to homes that were overpriced to begin with. Good homes that are priced accurately are still selling, and they are selling fast.

Currently, we have buyers, but not enough homes to show them. The seasonal theory for most sellers and Realtors is that the best time to list is in the spring when the flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and the days are longer. The truth is, buyers exist all year, but many home sellers will take their homes off the market in late fall or winter. There’s no secret about it, the spring is the high season for sales. However, in migration and out migration, life changes, and expiring leases do not follow a perfect real estate calendar.

There may be fewer buyers in the market right now compared to the springtime, but the buyers who are looking now need to buy. They are not “tire kickers”.
